Beauty of the Field
Beauty of the Field
In my mind’s eye I see your vision of beauty
To hear you voice I would lasso the moon
Delicate as the notes of a harp
Pure as the mountain snow
The scent of a field of roses
Sweet, alluring, driving the hearts of men to sway
Eyes so deep, brooding yet full of life
Reflecting an inner strength laced with passion
Drawing in all who gaze into them
Reflecting your every mood
Hair like rays of sunlight, flowing in the wind
Dancing over your shoulders, cascading down your back
Slender like the willow tree, beautiful and full of grace
Your step light, nary disturbing a leaf
To hold you in my arms would be my ecstasy
Daughter of the meadow, of you I dream
