Failure of my Action

Failure of my Action

A night lit by a single star
I gazed upon her from afar
Touched by her beauty and her grace
Darkness gone by her smiling face
Her voice rings across the trees
Long hair flowing she seems so free
Unknown to me the bars of steel
For her she knows how cold they feel
Undarkened her spirit she continued to sing
My greatest dream to give her my ring
From a distance though I heard her song
Slipping forever till she was gone
